Home accident

I am still recovering from shock. Totally clueless about how it happened.

Was busy cooking dinner when i heard little girl's cry. It wasn't the usual bump or bruise. She had a short but rather deep cut on her forehead. She said she didn't fall and knock herself. She claims she merely knock herself against the edge of the main door.

Didn't realise that a harmless looking door (well at least it doesn't have any sharp edges) can cause such a bit cut. Brought her to the PD, where she has her wound glue together. Didn't opt to bring her for stitching as i reckon it would be more traumatising for her as well as myself.

Being the usual tough little girl (she didn't cry for 90% of the jabs she had taken), she didn't cry during the cleaning up of the wound, as well as the glue-ing part. The pd was so scare that she might move when he is applying the glue that he wrapped her up in towel. Well, she didn't move at all, that's my brave little girl.

After this incident, i thought i should really go for 1st aid course. Though i am quite calm when such things happened, but i am clueless of what i should do. hmm..
